📖 Introduction

Discipleship and leadership are deeply intertwined in the life of a follower of Christ. To truly lead, one must first be a committed disciple—someone who learns from Jesus, follows His teachings, and models His character. Throughout Scripture, we see that leadership in God’s kingdom is not about power or prestige but about service, humility, and influence rooted in faith.

As you embark on this 7-day study, you will discover how disciples grow into leaders who influence others by embodying Christ’s principles. Jesus Himself exemplified this path by investing time in His twelve disciples, teaching them, mentoring them, and preparing them to carry forward His mission after His departure. Discipleship involves listening deeply to God’s call, engaging in spiritual disciplines, growing in love, and taking responsibility for influencing others in kingdom purposes.

Leadership in the Bible is always servant leadership. Jesus washed His disciples’ feet, demonstrating a radical model of humility and care. As disciples become leaders, they learn to lead by example—putting others’ needs before their own. This study will encourage you to reflect on your current stage of growth and challenge you to intentionally cultivate qualities needed to lead effectively for Christ.

Each day, you will engage with Scriptures highlighting different facets of discipleship and leadership, receive devotional insights to inspire and challenge you, and reflect on probing questions designed to deepen your understanding. You will also be guided in journaling and prayer to internalize these biblical truths and apply them practically.
