At HolyJot, we believe that every tool—even advanced AI—should serve to glorify God and build up the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 10:31, Ephesians 4:12). Our AI companion, Faith, is designed to assist you in journaling, biblical reflection, spiritual growth, and productive, Spirit-led inquiry. These guidelines are here to help you use Faith responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with biblical values.

1. Use AI in a Spirit-Led Way

We encourage you to use Faith for:

• Deepening your relationship with God through Scripture-based journaling and prayer prompts.
• Reflecting on faith-based topics, biblical discernment, and Christian worldview discussions.
• Exploring devotionals, sermons, biblical essays, and personal spiritual development.
• Collaborating with others in study groups, book clubs, or guided journeys centered on God’s Word.

Avoid using Faith for:

• Generating content that contradicts biblical truth or promotes sin (Galatians 5:19–21).
• Spreading misinformation, deception, or divisive arguments not rooted in love or truth (Ephesians 4:25, James 3:17).
• Engaging in inappropriate, offensive, or non-edifying content (Ephesians 5:4, Philippians 4:8).

2. Maintain a Christ-Honoring Environment

HolyJot is a sacred space. Please don’t use our AI tools to:

• Generate or promote sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or blasphemous content.
• Mock or misrepresent Scripture, the Christian faith, or other users.
• Create false prophecies, spiritual claims, or divine-sounding output not grounded in biblical truth.

We ask all users to hold one another accountable in love (Galatians 6:1) and report any misuse of Faith that dishonors Christ.

3. Protect Yourself and Others

Using Faith should never replace prayer, Scripture, or sound biblical counsel. Please:

• Refrain from sharing sensitive personal, financial, or medical information.
• Avoid inputting information about others without their permission.
• Do not use Faith to impersonate others, mislead, or create false identities.

HolyJot and Faith do not provide medical, legal, or psychological advice. Always seek qualified professionals when needed, and let Faith serve as a supplement to—not a substitute for—wise counsel (Proverbs 11:14).

4. Be Respectful of Third-Party Rights

As followers of Christ, we are called to act with integrity and respect toward others—including in our digital conduct (Romans 12:17). When using Faith, you must not create, upload, or share content that infringes on the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others. This includes, but is not limited to:

Prompts designed to generate copyrighted or trademarked material you do not own or have permission to use.

Uploading or referencing media (e.g., songs, books, sermons, images) that belong to third parties without appropriate rights.

Copying or generating plagiarized text from published or proprietary materials.

Using another person’s likeness, name, or personal information without consent.

5. Understand the Limits of Faith

Faith is an AI tool, not a prophet or pastor. While she is trained to align with biblical truth and Christ-centered insights, she does not possess divine wisdom. Always test what you read and hear against the Word of God (1 Thessalonians 5:21, Acts 17:11). If something seems off or confusing, bring it before the Lord in prayer and seek guidance from trusted Christian mentors or your local church.

6. Report Misuse

Help us keep HolyJot pure, safe, and uplifting. If you see someone misusing Faith or violating these guidelines, report it to us at support@holyjot.com. Our moderation team prayerfully evaluates each report and acts according to our mission to cultivate Christ-centered community.
