The story of the Ten Minas in Luke 19:11–27 is a profound illustration of this principle. Jesus tells of a nobleman who entrusts his servants with minas (a form of money) before leaving on a journey. Upon his return, he evaluates their faithfulness in investing what was given. Those who proved trustworthy in little were rewarded with greater responsibility; the unfaithful faced consequences.
This parable teaches us that God values our diligence, integrity, and faithfulness in the everyday tasks He places in our hands.
